CBS42 news anchor Ken Lass surprised teacher Erica Tanks at a pep rally with a $1,000 check.  The grant was part of CBS 42's One Class at a Time education project.  Miss Tanks applied fr the grant in order to buy Math literature for her 4th and 5th grade students at Hudson K-8 Elementary School in North Birmingham.
