CBS42's Ken Lass presented a $1,000 check to Sally Price, executive director of the Jefferson County Schools Foundation.  The Foundation raises money for the county's 57 schools.  This particular grant will be used for classroom supplies for Center Point Elementary students who had to be moved to the old Erwin Middle School building because of tornado damage to their school.  Watch the video!

Any teacher can apply for a One Class at a Time grant.  Just go to cbs42.com, click on "Features", then follow the "One Class" link to the application form.  A $1,000 grant is awarded each week during the school year.  The winner is featured each Thursday night on CBS42 News at Six.
