HEUYTOWN, Ala. (WIAT) - CBS 42 news anchor Ken Lass surprised Aminah Shah in her Hueytown Elementary School classroom with a $1,000 grant.  The award is part of CBS 42's One Class at a Time education project.  Miss Shah teaches Exception Ed students and plans to use the money for classroom tools that will encourage her students, most of whom have multiple handicaps, to become more mobile and aware.

Any teacher can apply for one of our grants.  Just click here and follow the instructions to fill out the application.

The co-sponsors of One Class at a Time are Chick-fil-A, America's First, and Pepsi.
