Honda Cuts Salaries & Production Days

Honda Motor Co. is offering voluntary buyouts, cutting workers' pay and imposing non-production days at its North American plants to reduce its production this summer by 62,000 vehicles.  Honda Spokesman Ron Lietzke says overall compensation will be reduced for its North American employees, with top executives experiencing the biggest cuts. At the Honda plant in Lincoln Alabama, they need to cut an additional 12,000 vehicles off the production line by July 31st.   To learn more about the specific changes at the Alabama plant click on the document link.
