Yellow Dot Program-Etowah County

    Etowah County's Yellow Dot Program is designed to help first responders when dealing with car accidents.   Those that sign up for Yellow Dot, get a folder to record all their medical information inside, the folder goes in the vehicle glove box.   They also get a yellow sticker for the back windshield to indicate they're in the program.   The free service is designed for seniors, but anyone can sign up at Etowah County Sheriff's office, the Etowah County Courthouse, or the Gadsden Fire Department.  Plus, for the next few weeks community centers will host sign up events:

* April 30 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon at Gadsden Convention Hall

* May 5 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Rainbow City Community Center

* May 7 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Sardis City Community Center

* May 8 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon at Hokes Bluff Community Center

* May 13 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon at Thompson Community Center
