Tuscaloosa investigators are reporting the rape of a Holt woman walking her dog. That news has many women on edge in the Birmingham Metro area.
The victim was treated and released from a Tuscaloosa area hospital. Now women are taking more and more steps to ensure their safety as they venture outside. Local lawmen say there are plenty of things they can do to stay safe. And most women we spoke say they're already doing a lot not to become a statistic.
