A suspect in a seven year old cold case murder is headed back to face charges in Walker County.
28-year-old Jarod Douglas Turner is accused in the shooting death of 23-year-old Roosevelt Thomas, Jr.
Thomas’ body was found lying in a street in the town of Parrish back in June of 2001.
Turner was arrested and charged with murder after being captured in San Antonio, Texas.
