BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) - It's been almost seven years since Natalee Holloway disappeared on a senior class trip to Aruba. Now, the man believed behind her disappearance is behind bars. And Joran Van Der Sloot is sentenced to be there for the next 28 years.
Van Der Sloot pleaded guilty to the killing of Stephany Flores in Peru on Wednesday. He was sentenced on Friday. While the questions surrounding the Peru killing have been answered, many still remain concerning Natalee. And many feel those questions need to be answered.
On the Leland Live show on WAPI, callers say the sentence helps but there won't be an end to this until what happened to her comes out.
