Well, for all of you couples out there... It's about that time! Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and a restaurant chain is spicing things up just for you.

It may not be the typical place to spend your Valentine's Day, but it's one the staff at the Waffle House says you certainly will not forget.

Lonnie Hamilton manages a Waffle House in Moody, one of the few locations in our area that is participating in a very special Valentine’s Day dining setup. On this day of love, the famous restaurant chain is opening its doors to couples in a spectacular way.

"You’ll come in and the tables will be set up with red linen. You have the candlelight. Most of our employees, waiters, and waitresses will have on white shirts," says Hamilton.

That will be the atmosphere on February 14th at this Waffle House...intimate and romantic. Already, people are calling in to make reservations.

The restaurant did a similar Valentine’s Day special last year. Managers expect this year's to be even better.

The location in Calera is also participating.

So what would the special person in your life think if you told them you're taking him/her to Waffle House to celebrate Valentine's Day?  Add your comments below.

Nice idea by hard working friendly staff at the Waffle Houses.Even White Castle is doing a similar thing. Upscale outback will make you wait as usual for service and are not as friendly although a bit less greasy. Can't wait to enjoy the Waffle House's cordiality.
