Tuscaloosa re-welcomed in its mayor and city council Monday. It was Inauguration Day for the city, and it was the first time the incumbent mayor and entire council was re-elected. Mayor Walt Maddox says they will continue the work they've started."In football, we would accept nothing less than being number one ranked in the country, I bring that same philosophy to City Hall every single day and we're going to continue the next four years with that same energy and enthusiasm to city government."
This will be Mayor Maddox's second term in office.
