The City of Irondale is looking for justice in what they call a change of heart that left them out of millions of dollars.

A Jefferson County judge heard oral arguments from both Irondale and Trinity Hospital Thursday afternoon. The defendants say they can easily outline the obligations of their contract, and building a hospital in Irondale was not one of them.

Trinity Hospital announced it will move in the digital hospital off of Highway 280 last year, but this came after the City of Irondale claimed trinity had already agreed to build a hospital there. The plaintiffs say the alleged contractual breech has caused them to lose a lot of money.

The hospital is filing to dismiss the lawsuit from Irondale. The judge is taking those arguments in advisement before making his decision.
