You may have been shocked by the recording made by a college student who went undercover to Planned Parenthood of Alabama.

The woman behind it all is 20 year old UCLA student Lila Rose. She runs a pro-life non- profit called Live Action which is supported by private donors. Since 2007, Rose has gone undercover in at least eight clinics posing as a pregnant teen and capturing comments by Planned Parenthood employees that are sparking national attention and controversy.

She's appeared on the talks shows of Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck and is quickly emerging as an investigative star.

Her mission: "to expose planned parenthood."

Birmingham was not her only stop.

In Tennessee, some credit Rose with a the recent passage of a bill in the state legislature that diverts almost a million dollars in funding away from Planned Parenthood.

The bill was passed just weeks after Rose, posing as a pregnant 14 year old in a Memphis clinic, recorded a nurse allegedly encouraging her to lie to a judge about the age of her boyfriend.

"Just say he's 17 years old... whatever," says the nurse.

But Rose has also faced obstacles. In her recordings of two California clinics, Planned Parenthood threatened to sue Rose for violating consent to record laws.

There have also been reports of YouTube removing at least two of the clinic recordings from its website.

A representative from Planned Parenthood of Alabama said Wednesday that the group is wrapping up its investigation of what happened during Rose's undercover visit to the Birmingham clinic, and she expects Planned Parenthood to make further comment this week.

he recording is the sixth released in a series called the "Mona Lisa Project," and law enforcement and lawmakers have voiced their shock and concern over what they've heard from the recordings.
