GULF SHORES, Ala. (WIAT) Just shy of the anniversary of the devastating oil spill, a celebration on Alabama's Gulf coast kicked off on Sunday.

As CBS42's Kimberly Rankin shows us, a crowd gathered to remember how we made it through a very tough year.
