St. Clair car crash claims 1 life

Birmingham, AL (WIAT) - On Jan. 4, 2012, a single-vehicle crash at 9:50 p.m. claimed the life of a St. Clair County man. The crash occurred just five miles north of Springville on County Road 31. Michael Coy Nolin, 25, of Ashville was killed when the 1995 Honda Accord he was driving traveled off of the roadway and overturned. Nolin was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected. He was pronounced dead on the scene. No other information is available at this time as troopers are still investigating.
