TALLADEGA NATIONAL FOREST, Ala. (WIAT) - Most stories that make the news about ATVs involved ambulances.  But most rides don't end at the emergency room.

One family spends weekends on their four-wheelers not trying to tear the woods up but spending a relaxing day with their families and friends.

Nick Kaufman grew up riding trails on motorcycles and brought his children up the same way.  Now, he's a grandfather and has his granddaughters on the Kentuck Trails inside the Talladega National Forest.  He sees it as a way to keep them out from in front of the television and off the computers and game consoles.

And 10 year old Kobee and eight year old Kaylee love spending time out in the woods on their four wheelers, enjoying nature and time with their family.
