It's been more than 60 years since Peach Week started in the Chilton County.  Just a few years ago, the Chilton Co. Chamber of Commerce added a new Friday night street festival, The Peach Jam Jubilee.

Mother of child beaten to death indicted
An Etowah County Grand jury has returned an indictment including two counts of capital murder against a Rainbow City mother whose 5-year-old son was beaten to death in 2006.
