Former Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin hits Birmingham on Monday to sign a few books. In all about 1000 Palin fans stood in line for upto 15 hours total on Sunday and Monday to get a chance to meet her.
Several hundred more stood in line to get the chance to meet her as well. But they weren't quite as lucky. Several got a snack from one of the nearby restuarants. Others came away with a signature. It wasn't Palin's, but her fathers.
