Natalee Holloway declared legally dead

Birmingham, AL (WIAT) CBS 42's Scott Packard reports that a Jefferson County judge has declared missing Mountain Brook teen Natalee Holloway legally dead, over 6 years after she disappeared in Aruba.

Natalee's father Dave Holloway asked the judge for this ruling, and attorneys for her mother Beth did not object.

The judge presiding said that this is a "sad occasion" and his heart goes out to the family.
