It’s a big weekend for local sci-fi fans! The much anticipated Imagicon is getting on the way at the BJCC.

This first-year full scale sci-fi and fantasy convention makes its premiere right here in the Magic City, and is expected to bring hundreds to the out-of-this-world spectacle.

Those in attendance can enjoy face art, classic sci-fi films, and vendors packed with amazing fantasy keepsakes.

"Come down here and support Imagicon. You’re missing out if you don't. This is really a great event. Costume characters are walking around, the guests are coming in, and people are already piling in," says vendor, Stan Daniel.

Imagicon runs through Sunday at the BJCC. You can purchase a weekend pass or buy tickets each day.
