Birmingham Mayor Larry Langford wants to ensure that his record as mayor is not forgotten.

During Tuesday's council meeting the Mayor presented council members with a copy of all the projects his office has spear headed since Langford took office 22 months ago.

The Mayor says even with all the criticism he's faced he's proud to have brought six-billion dollars in economic impact to the Magic City.

"Birmingham is in excellent financial condition, we're paving more streets, building more schools, building museums. those are the things that move a city forward."

The projects highlighted in the report may be the only projects proposed under the Langford administration.

If the Mayor is convicted during next weeks federal corruption trial, then Larry Langford will have to resign his office.
