From the Alabama GOP:
Political strategist Karl Rove has announced that he will be coming to Birmingham to promote his new book, Courage and Consequence. During the stop in Alabama, the "architect” of President Bush’s 2000 and 2004 campaigns will also be the featured speaker for a dinner hosted by the Alabama Republican Party. The dinner will be held on April 27th at 6p.m. at The Club in Birmingham.
Rove joins fellow Fox News contributor Dick Morris as keynote speakers for official Alabama Republican Party events in 2010. The Party has previously announced that Morris will headline the “Reagan Dinner” on June 26, also to be held in Birmingham.
“I’m very excited that the Karl Rove book tour is coming to Alabama, and we very much appreciate his willingness to be apart of our fundraising efforts in 2010," said Rep. Mike Hubbard (R-Auburn), Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party. “We have been fortunate to land A-List speakers like Governor Tim Pawlenty, Karl Rove and Dick Morris for our events, and Republicans in Alabama are participating in record numbers.”
“These events go a long way to keeping Republicans focused on November 2nd and we look forward setting new attendance records for both the Rove and Morris events,” Hubbard added. “I encourage anyone interested in attending to act now as space is extremely limited and we expect to sell out rather quickly.”
