Birmingham, AL (WIAT) - Joran van der Sloot is back in the news. See Mary Hamer, an Alabama doctor who vehemently believes he is innocent, plead her case in the video above. Also, the latest about when his trial is set to begin. Finally, a movie about the disappearance of Natalee Holloway is about to make its debut on video. Van der Sloot has been linked to, but never convicted, of Holloway's disappearance. He is currently in a Peruvian jail awaiting trial for the murder of Stephany Flores.

I hope that Joran makes it through all the craziness he has ahead of him. It is sad on all three ends to know that Joran to is a lost,so young and very bright. His live is over now,but at least the victims family can let their daughters live on through them, this is a blessing.Things will work out for the best. Wish Joran had got the help he needed when he was younger is truly sadden.My Jorans family find peace also.
