A new study shows that a woman's hormone levels, could boost their self-confidence in a dramatic way, and the effect could lead some to search for love outside of their relationship.

Doctor Kristina Durante of the University of Texas at Austin says women's estrogen levels could cause them to look good, feel good, and know it!

"Women who are with high levels of circulating estradiol, not only are they more attractive, but they're able to capitalize their attractiveness,” Durante said through a phone interview on Wednesday.

That self-confidence could likely lead to a major problem in relationships.

"They're less satisfied with their current partner and as a result, it looks like they're more willing to become more acquainted with another man," Durante adds.

Researchers say the study is not a medical excuse for women to cheat. In fact, they say that the women who are attracted to men outside of the relationship, are, most often, looking for a long-term replacement instead of short term affairs.
