HANCEVILLE, Ala. (WIAT) - Vandals cause thousands of dollars in damage at a local place of worship.
It happened Friday at Center Hill Baptist Church in Hanceville. Police say the words 'Hail satan" were written on the wall.
Someone also fired a gunshot through a stained glass window. A christian flag was burned and an antique bible inside the sanctuary was vandalized.
The damage is estimated at around 16-thousand dollars. Police have several leads but no arrests. The church has insurance to cover the damage.
