Gulf coast hopes for a tourism turnaround

GULF SHORES, Ala. (WIAT) - One year has passed since millions of gallons of oil flooded the Gulf of Mexico.

The oil devastated not only water and beaches, but the livelihoods of businesses and homeowners.

Are things turning around? Some say yes, but a strong summer is the key to survival.
