DESTIN, Fla. (WIAT) It's been a difficult 12 months for those fishermen who call Destin Harbor home.

The BP oil spill not only scared off charter customers, it rocked people's confidence in the quality and safety of gulf seafood.

Dewey Destin is an expert in this area's fishing industry.  He says nowadays, Gulf seafood goes through more health testing than any other seafood in the world and that's why Dewey Destin and local fishermen are excited about this...

A marketing campaign that will tag all grouper and snapper caught through Destin with this tag.

It reads "Gulf Wild" and will feature a marketing campaign to reassure seafood buyers that this is a safe product. Local seafood fans hope this campaign will help boost Destin's fishing business.
