“Da-Da” is the sweetest word in the world to David Cagle and today is a pretty sweet day.

"It feels good! I woke up this morning and got a card from my daughter and my wife and it said Happy Da-Da day!” said David Cagle.

However, the biggest gift of all is his spending time with his seventeen month old daughter Evelyn.

"We call her Evie," said Cagle.

Cagle says every day is Father's Day, because he's a stay at home dad.

"That's the whole reason one of us wanted to stay home with her, so that we'd be able to watch her grow up, see all of her milestones. You know, her first steps, her first words, we just really wanted to experience her life," said David Cagle.

Erika Cagle says the family's first two Father's Day celebrations have been extra special because of the hours her husband puts in.

"He does so much. I mean it's unbelievable really. He does the cooking, cleaning, takes care of her which I think I'll be eternally, eternally grateful," said Erika Cagle.

"The best part about being a dad is just; I don't know it's a whole new experience you know. Until you have a child you really don't understand the meaning of life. You know each year to come will be even more special for us," said David Cagle.
