City Stages can’t afford to pay their venders. So locally owned businesses like the Bottle Tree Café are having financial problems. Merrilee Challiss, the owner of the Bottle Tree, says she was paid for the food cost, but not for the hours her employees worked at City Stages. Mother of child beaten to death indicted
An Etowah County Grand jury has returned an indictment including two counts of capital murder against a Rainbow City mother whose 5-year-old son was beaten to death in 2006.
