BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) - Wednesday is the first day of Black History Month and the folks at the Southern Museum of Flight hope you'll stop by.
They have an exhibit dedicated solely to the fight against racial segregation in the Armed Forces. It's more than a typical museum exhibit...it's a tour though a chapter of American history.
The Tuskegee Airmen fought were the first black pilots to see active duty during World War Two. The exhibit showcases their story and includes several of their actual aircraft.
