All month long Bessemer Academy, McAdory, Jess Lanier and Oak Grove High Schools have been competing to see which school could collect the most canned goods for the needy.  Collectively they raised 5,183 cans to feed those less fortunate during the holiday season.  Congratulations to Bessemer Academy!  They collected the most canned foods with a total of 1,509.  Organizer, Haley Montgomery, says every participating school is a winner!
