JASPER, Ala. (WIAT) - A
new doggie daycare just opened in Jasper ... and there's already a full-house. Workers say it's the first in Walker County.
Veterinarian Jeremiah Alexander says it may seem like a luxury only meant for larger cities, but even in rural areas there is a need for day-time care. He say it can help dog's that have separation anxiety or those who need to burn off some energy.Located at the Farmstead Veterinary Medical Center, Alexander says they have partnered with the Barking Zone Dog Daycare franchise based out of Birmingham. All animals must be vaccinated.
