BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT)- The babies of the St. Vincent's Health Systems are joining the fight to build awareness of women's heart disease, the #1 killer of women in the United States. In honor of the American Heart Association's 9th annual "Wear Red Day" the tykes donned red caps.
St. Vincent's will also hold "Heart Day" on February 18th. From 6:00-11:00 A.M. four heart tests will be offered for $40.00, including an EKG, Blood Pressure Screening, and Lipid Profile.
