GULF SHORES, Ala. (WIAT) More proof that life is getting somewhat back to normal on Alabama gulf coast beaches.

This, in the wake of last year's oil leak.  The last of the heavy equipment for BP's Operation Deep Clean was moved off the beaches of Baldwin County this past weekend.

Many felt the machinery was an eyesore.

However, strike teams will remain if an issue of oil, or tar mats does wash up again.

My husband, ( then fiance) worked that oil spill, and it is NOT CLEANED UP! "They" shut it all down after 'Labot Day', and it's still there. The "dispercement" they put down did nothing but kill the REEFS and fish. The OIL is still there, and will continue to be. This was a POLITICAL move to "ease" the minds of us Americans!! It has NOT!!! Tammy, Fl. :=)
