Lt. Randy Christian with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office said a deputy responded to a robbery in progress Saturday morning at 996 Forestdale Blvd, which is Arby's.

The store manager told investigators that a male subject entered the store, went behind counter and stole a bank pouch with an unknown amount of money inside it. The subject reportedly said, "Don't move or I'll kill you."

Witnesses said the subject was wearing clear rubber gloves and may have been armed. The individual left in a black Honda that was occupied by as many as two other males, according to Lt. Christian.

He said the vehicle was last seen turning onto Persimmon St. from Forestdale Blvd.

The area was searched, but investigators did not make contact with the suspects.
