Alabaster, AL (WIAT) A hollywood actress is trying to inspire young people to think about democracy and the principals upon which this country was founded.
17-year-old Bethany Carter is one of several winners in a national essay contest sponsored by actress Janine Turner's Constituting America.
Carter is a senior at Evangel Classical Christian School in Alabaster and will now join other winners at Constitution Hall on Constitution Day where they will be honored together.
