Harpersville, AL (WIAT)--"Grits don't come from New York and Chardonnay doesn't come from Alabama," is the response Charles Brammer gives to people who ask question about the wines from his family's Morgan Creek Vinyards.

The vinyard has been in operation for nearly a decade, making several different types of muscadine and fruit wines.  And Brammer says they're not seeing the same type of issues other wine growing regions are seeing from climate change.  The reason are the types of grapes that grow best in Central Alabama.
