Montgomery, Ala. (WIAT) - The 2012 legislative session will gavel open at noon Tuesday.
The session will not come without plenty of debate and controversy.
Three new bills are prefiled to amend the "Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act" also known as HB56.
Those Bills are Senate Bills 37, 41, 140. Each works to clarify or amend a part of HB56 that has previously been challenged in court.
And bullying will get plenty of attention with companion Bills SB32 and HB 10.
These Bills would amend the Student Harassment Prevention Act... allowing students who are being harassed to be reassigned to another school to separate the victim from his or her bully.

SB5 would define the term "persons" to include all humans from the moment of fertilization and implantation into the womb.
