Alabaster, Ala. (WIAT) - The Alabaster Police Department has arrested 43-year-old Harmon Acker of Alabaster.
Acker was arrested on February 4 after officers responded to a burglary in progress call at Thompson High School.
A witness notified police that he had seen a man trying to make entry into the school through a window.
Acker was taken into custody at the scene without incident.
Shelby County Board of Education representatives signed a warrant for Ackers arrest.
Acker is charged with Criminal Trespassing 2nd Degree.
Acker is free after posting a $500.00 bond.
Harmon Acker is the brother of Danny Acker who has recently been charged with several counts of Sexual Abuse.
