A 40 day abortion protest is underway across the nation. Over the next five weeks volunteers with 40 Days of Life will protest through prayer outside Birmingham Planned Parenthood from 7am to 7pm. 

The protesters say they are praying for the unborn children and offering those considering an abortion an alternative through "Her Choice Birmingham Women's Center."
