Before you know it'll be time for many of us to file those tax returns. The IRS is passing along a few notes before you get started.
First, tax-exempt organizations will have more time to get their returns filed. The deadline was extended from January 17th to March 30th. Also, for those who prefer to file their returns electronically, you can start doing that today. You can e-file for free if you use the service's Free-file program.
