Saturday is the 26th annual Covered Bridge Festival in Oneonta. If you've never seen these historic structures this is the weekend to go to Blount County. The arts and crafts show and entertainment begins at 9AM.
The Doggy Parade is at 12:15. A small admission will be charged for some events like the pancake breakfast and quilt show.
Sunday the Jonathan Bass House in Leeds is opening its newest exhibit featuring Barbie. the collection is on loan from a barbie collector. The Bass Museum is open on Sundays and Wednesdays from 1:30 to 4:30PM.
Also on Sunday, bring your pet for an afternoon of trick or treating in Birmingham. The BJC Animal Control is hosting pupp-a-ween at pickwick plaza in Birmingham's 5-Points-South. That's from 3pm to 5pm.
