MOUNTAIN BROOK, Ala. (WIAT) - The Crimson Tide's National Championship is being put on canvas.

Alabama recently commissioned and licensed ActionSportsArt as the official artist for 2011.

For the last week, artist Chad Martin has been capturing the championship by brush.

It's the second time ActionSportsArt has worked with Alabama, they were the official artists of the 2009 national title.

But this time they're doing two pieces of art.

"The defensive piece is called 'The Shutout.' We should have it online soon for purchase.  The other piece we have is the offense featuring Trent Richardson called 'The Final Run,'" artist Chad Martin said.

The limited edition pieces will hang in the Alabama Athletic Department.

Reproductions will be made available later in January.
