We all know that children love video games, but for some of the patients at Children's Hospital. It's not as easy as just sitting down in front of the television.
That's why representatives from IMS, a local surgical instrument company, came up with the "Game Dawg" system.
The idea behind the gaming screen is pretty simple, says Gene Robinson the President and CEO of IMS,
"Game Dawg, as you can see behind me is a video game on a cart that can be taken to the children so they can so they can have some video time or some kind of distraction to take away from the pain."
The Game Dawg can be used for Playstation 3 games as well as DVDs.
4 systems were brought in today and they plan on bringing in a few more.
