Jefferson County Gets Federal Grant

Jefferson County receives more than 6- million dollars to help fight obesity and nearly 7 million to fight tobacco use.  The money comes as part of a national campaign to curb these two problems. The Department of Health and Human resources dolled out 370 million dollars to 44 communities. Jefferson County received the most money per capita.
