Birmingham, AL (WIAT) St. Vincent's Health System announced today a new tool for the community- an app for iOS devices to connect patients with health information. The new app allows users to call or email Dial-A-Nurse weekdays from 8am-5pm. It also includes listings and contact information for all of the various St. Vincent's facilities in the metro area. It's free to use for anyone (in fact they encourage such questions as "is it OK to dye your hair when you are pregnant?") so click on the link to download it- but remember you must have an iPhone or iPod touch to use it.

For those who don't have an iPhone, you can still call Dial-A-Nurse at  (205) 939-7878 or toll free at (800) 331-6777. They also accept emails at this link.
