"If you have prayed and asked God I want to do this, do you really want it when He gives it to you?  Do you really, really want it?”

31-year-old Adrienne Fox is signing off on her future as a Christian fiction author.  Friends, family and fans joined her at Patton Creek’s Barnes and Noble for her first book signing of the newly published "God Grant Me the Serenity."  It’s a Christian romance novel that Adrienne hopes will speak to young women.

"I think a lot of women, especially single women, struggle with relationships.  There's a void in lives and we think we won't be happy unless we are in a relationship, but the ultimate relationship we need to have is the one with God," said Fox.

Some of these are struggles Adrienne faced during the time she wrote "God Grant Me the Serenity."  She started on it back in July 2005, and saw it published in April 2008.

"I was trying to build my relationship with God and I was going through a lot.  This is something I prayed for God ‘what do you want me to do’ and it always came to this," said Fox.

Even when she was told no, Adrienne pressed on believing this was something she was meant to do.  Tate Publishing put her book in print and they only cut one chapter.

Something Adrienne smiles about today as she signs autographs; this moment is one she dreamed of as a young girl, and as she basks in the glow of her success she has this advice for people with dreams.

"Whatever they set out to do in their lives that it can be done as long as they believe and faith and trust in God," said Fox.

You can find Adrienne’s book at Barnes and Noble.  And if you've already picked up your copy and enjoyed it, there's more to come.  Adrienne says she's already working on the sequel.
