On June 12th over-the-air Analog Broadcasting will stop and Digital Broadcasting will begin for WIAT, CBS 42 Birmingham. If you currently use an indoor rabbit-ear or out-door stick antenna, make sure you test with your new digital converter box connected. If you experience loss of certain stations, you may need to update you current antenna. Note, all digital broadcasting will now be UHF and your antenna must be as well. Following each adjustment of your antenna, remember to rescan for channels, using the rescan function of your television or converter box remote control.
