Vigil For Murder Victims

BIRMINGHAM, Ala (WIAT) –  While the search for more suspects continues, family members and friends cope with the reality of lost loved ones from Sunday night's quintuple homicide in Ensley. The sights and sounds of Wednesday night's peace rally, were nothing short of passionate and moving. Family, friends and community members swarmed the crime scene on Avenue S in Ensley to remember the victims of Sunday mornings quintuple homicide.

Carolyn Johnson, Parents Against Violence, "I hope this will be the last one we have to do this year, because it's no fun doing it, but it must be done so people know we have a voice in our community and the people who lost their lives that was someone's family members and are going to be truly missed forever."

Family members of the five victims are working on funeral arrangements. The two suspects remain behind bars. Birmingham Police are asking anyone with additional information to call Crime Stoppers at 254-7777.
