BIRMINGHAM, Ala (WIAT) – 16-year old Artavious Underwood is one of three teens charged with the shocking execution style murders. He was the second person police charged in the crime.16-year old Reginald Mims was just arrested on Thursday. They each face five counts of capital murder. Stoves is scheduled to head to court on Friday: for the first time since the murders were discovered early Sunday morning. According to Underwood's mother, Stoves and her son, were close friends.

“They were friends, yeah but I couldn't have never thought them two could do something like that, it's a shock to the family because I raised Artavius up the right way,” Ramona Underwood tells us.

CBS42 found Artavius's Facebook picture, showing the suspect under the captioned words "View Mob".

After Googling and searching YouTube for the phrase "View Mob" we uncovered several videos...news of these videos was shocking to Underwood's mother.

“A lot of things that's coming up, baby, I don't know nothing about it because when they came in my presence, they respect me, they did what I told them to do. All this other stuff I'm hearing, I never seen that side of them so I don't know what could have occurred that night,” says Underwood.

With shocking and provocative images found on the Internet, CBS42 sat down with City Councilor Steven Hoyt as he watched the videos for the first time.

“And it says to me that there is a problem, but the city's got to put its attention to it and we have to solve these issues, we can't let this continue,” Hoyt says. We contacted the Birmingham Police Department about the videos and pictures, but they would not comment on the ongoing investigation.  Police are still asking anyone with additional information to call Crime Stoppers at 254-7777.

Both OF YALL CAN SHOW SOME RESPECT BECAUSE SHE HAS NEVER BEEN A BAD MOTHER TO EITHER ONE OF HER KIDS. SHE IS A SINGLE MOTHER DOING HER BEST JUST TO MAKE IT. IF YOU PUT YOURSELF IN HER SHOES THAN YOU WOULD HAVE ALOT MORE RESPECT ON WHAT YOU. ARTAVIUS IS NOT A BAD CHILD ITS THE FRIENDS AROUND THAT INFLUENCE HIM. THE BIRMINGHAM TEENAGE BOY'S LIFE REVOLVES AROUND GANGS VIOLENCE AND GUNS AND THAT'S A LIFE YOU CANT ESCAPE WHEN YOU HAVE THOSE INFLUENCES AROUND YOU. 95% OF TEENAGE BOYS IN BIRMINGHAM ALABAMA ARE IN GANGS AND MOST VIOLENT ACTIVITIES. AND THATS SOMETHING MOTHER LIKE RAMONA UNDERWOOD CANT KEEP ARTAVIUS AWAY FROM IF IT IS AROUND HIM BY HIS OWN CHOICE.

This is a shame. Two of the young men were cousins of a friend of mine. To Ms. Underwood, just because your son says yes sir and yes mam, does not mean he is good. Why did you not know where this teenager was at 3:30 in the morning,. A lot of this I blame on the parents who are not raising their children. Do you know where your child is? That is the question. As long as we continue to ket our yiung men run the sstreets like packs of dogs the problem will continue. Another generation of young african american men lost. When will we lkearn. Our youngsters are either in jail or in the grave. Wake up.

I am tired of those thugs mothers getting on TV saying how schocked they are that their son is bad. She knew long time ago that he was bad. she should get charged with something. Back in the day parents were respondseable for what their kids did. if your kid broke in on someone the parent would beat the child all the way to the place of the crime make them give back what they took and make them apologise.then make them do what it took to make that person right. because children were a refelction of their parents.so they would try to raise them with respect and manners and keep them respectable.
