After working with video production companies in Atlanta, Sam was hired in 2005 as an Editor at WRBL-TV, the CBS affiliate in Columbus, GA. After nearly a year of editing, Sam picked up the camera to become a full-time photographer for the station.
Sam came to CBS 42 in February 2007 and has since expanded upon his abilities as a photographer to consistently write stories for newscasts as well as operate live satellite remotes. Working with CBS 42, Sam has traveled to Mississippi, Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia.
Away from work, Sam and his wife enjoy taking road trips and seeing the country's native wildlife. After the experience of a lifetime visiting Botswana and Zimbabwe in 2001 - they also look forward to their next African safari.
